Across Melbourne’s coastline, a new collection of Lowe homes is taking shape. Six significant projects, each occupying an exceptional site and each presenting a unique opportunity to create a home deeply considered in its response to location and lifestyle.
For more than four decades, Lowe Design & Build has been designing and building homes across Bayside and Melbourne’s coastal suburbs. Our experience across beachfront, beachside and other blue-chip locations has given us an intimate understanding of what these sites demand, from maximising outlook and responding to prevailing conditions, to specifying materials and construction methodologies that will perform in a coastal environment for years to come.
Designed for exceptional locations
An exceptional site deserves an equally considered response. For some of these homes, that means capturing expansive views across Port Phillip Bay while balancing privacy and protection. For others, it means responding to a prominent streetscape, resolving complex planning considerations or finding opportunities within the land that are not immediately apparent.
Each home begins with the site and the people who will live there. From there, our design and construction teams consider how architecture, orientation, materiality, interiors and landscape can work together to create a home that feels entirely appropriate to its setting.
Across this next generation of Lowe homes, that design capability will be expressed both through our in-house team and through architectural collaboration with Tony Vella of Rachcoff Vella Architecture.

Experience built over four decades
Complex, high-value homes require more than an exceptional design. They require a team with the experience to translate architectural ambition into a resolved built outcome, while understanding the realities of the site, materials and environment.
Since 1984, we have continued to refine that capability across Bayside. We test and evaluate materials, develop construction methodologies and apply the knowledge gained from completed homes to those that follow.
That experience continues beyond handover through Lowe Home Servicing, supporting the performance and presentation of our homes for years to come.
It is an approach built on continuity: from the first response to a site, through design and construction, to the long-term care of the finished home.
