The Custom Built Home category honours homes that are uniquely designed and constructed to suit a client’s specific brief and site. We were delighted to receive this award for our Aspendale Beach residence, winning in the $2.5 – $3 million category.

Positioned on the pristine shores of Aspendale Beach, this custom residence has been designed as a timeless sanctuary for a young, active family. The home blends refined contemporary coastal living with bespoke craftsmanship, expansive light-filled interiors, and a seamless connection to its beachfront setting.
Inside, the home showcases a refined approach to contemporary coastal living, where expansive, light-filled spaces frame uninterrupted views of Port Phillip Bay and connect seamlessly to a series of sheltered outdoor living zones. A sculptural kitchen island in CDK Taj Mahal stone, warm oak floors, and bespoke detailing balance elegance with functionality. Carefully chosen materials such as Venetian plaster, reeded glass, and brass accents create a subtle, sophisticated palette that elevates everyday living.
Aspendale Beach was awarded the 2025 HIA Victorian Residential Interior Design accolade.
