We are delighted to share the success of our recent project in Aspendale, which stands as one of the first townhouse developments within Kingston Council to achieve an impressive 70% Build Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) rating.

BESS, a comprehensive assessment tool, is specifically designed to meet the requirements within planning permit applications. It evaluates the overall environmental sustainability of new buildings or alterations. As a result this particular project incorporates several key features aligned with these criteria. Some of these include;

– 4 star showerheads (6.0-7.5 L/min), toilets, & dishwashers

– 5 star kitchen & bathroom taps

– Electric hot water units

– 3000L rainwater tanks for each dwelling, connected to all toilets & washing machines

– Double glazing (or better) for all living areas and bedrooms

– 1 EV charger in each garage

– 2kW solar PV system for each dwelling

A distinctive feature of our project is the proactive shift towards all-electric systems, aligning with Victoria’s ambitious emission reduction targets. Our commitment to achieving a 70% BESS score reflects our focus and dedication to working with all stakeholders to ensure we contribute to environmentally responsible and sustainable developments and single dwellings.

In conclusion, our passion for creating positive change, coupled with a commitment to improving construction standards, positions us as industry leaders in delivering sustainable homes. We are dedicated to making a lasting impact on the industry and contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.
